Step 1 - Personalised Care

Personalised care means people have the choice and control over the way their care is planned and delivered. It is based on what matters to them and takes account of the person's individual strengths and needs.  Advocacy has a long tradition of pushing for personalised care.

Concept - to be yourself, to be unique.

This step of the programme requires you access an external training programme developed and delviered by NHS England.  It is called NHS Personalised Care: Peer Leadership Foundation

On this course you’ll learn what personalised care is, and how it can benefit the whole population in England. You’ll also hear how it works in practice.
