National Advocacy Conference 2023

sponsored by

Day 2 - Birmingham, Nov 7th

Using Power, Having Influence and Being Brave

We believe that for advocates to be effective, you need to
have a reservoir of skills that are based on being brave and
courageous.
You see, being an advocate requires you to
speak up when others are silent, take action that is
uncomfortable and sometimes be a voice of dissent
against a wall of complicity.
You have to be prepared to be curious about why things are happening (or not happening) and to ask difficult questions that people sometimes don't want to hear.

This fully immersive day will support you to build more of your resilience and bravery so you can step into your power when you need to - like a black belt advocate.

This day is not for advocates who want to sit all day and listen to powerpoint presentations!  This is for advocates who want more practical skills, want more power and want to unleash their bravery. This is for advocates who want to be part of the movement to support people to get great lives.
